For clients who prioritize control and privacy, we provide the tools and guidance to manage the migration independently. These automated processes are designed to be user-friendly, secure, and executed at your own pace, ensuring that your team maintains full custody of the data throughout the process.

Our Migration Methods
We offer a tiered menu of migration methods, from simple uploads to comprehensive white-glove services.
Method 1
Web-Based Upload (Self-Service)
What it is: A direct, browser-based upload feature within the DATACT platform.
Best for: Individual datasets, reports, or small batches of images that are not excessively large(up to a few gigabytes).
Process: Users with appropriate permissions can simply drag and drop files or select datasets from their computer for direct upload into a project.
Status: This feature is in active development andcoming soon.

DATACT Upload App (Bulk Self-Service)
What it is: A dedicated, secure Windows application designed for bulk data migration.
Best for: Migrating large, structured projects containing thousands of files, multiple datasets, and complex folder hierarchies (up to a few terabytes).
Process: Your team installs the DATACT Upload App on a local server or machine. You can stage all your data within the app, which then handles the entire upload process automatically, with robust error checking and the ability to resume interrupted transfers.
Status: This method is fully automated, ensuring that no one from our company has access to your data.
Method 3
Physical Media Migration (Secure Shipment)
What it is: You consolidate your project data onto one or more encrypted hard drives and securely ship them to our data center.
Best for: Extremely large datasets (many terabytes) where uploading over a standard internet connection would be impractical or take weeks.
Process: We provide detailed guidance on data encryption and packaging. Upon receipt, we use our high-speed network infrastructure to ingest the data directly into your dedicated DATACT environment. This is often the fastest method for massive-scale migration.
Status: While highly secure and efficient, we work with you to ensure this method meets your organization's privacy and data handling policies.
Method 4
On-Site Data Ingestion (White-Glove Service)
What it is: Our data specialists visit your offices to personally manage the data aggregation and transfer process.
Best for: Organizations with the highest security requirements, complex internal networks, or data scattered across multiple physical locations and teams.
Process: We work with your IT and project teams to locate and consolidate all relevant data onto a secure, encrypted hard drive. We then manage the secure transport and upload of this data into your DATACT platform.
Peace of Mind: This method offers the ultimate convenience and assurance, as our experts handle every step of the process on-site.
